Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
